Recently, some customers have provided feedback that after installing the V2 module in their car, they are unsure how to connect to wireless CarPlay or select the correct audio source. Many users have also mixed up the steps.
This article will walk you through the process of connecting Wireless Android Auto (AA) and Wireless CarPlay, as well as setting up the audio source in the correct order.
Wirless AA and Carplay Connection
First, once you complete the installation of the V2 module, you will enter the V2 module’s menu interface. Then, take your phone and connect to either Wireless CarPlay or Wireless Android Auto. This process is actually very simple.
Step 1: Turn on Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on your phone.
Step 2: First, pls connect to your phone’s Bluetooth and pair it with the V2 module’s Bluetooth. (Many users make a mistake here. Some people try to connect to Wi-Fi first, but that’s not necessary. You need to pair Bluetooth first, and once paired, the Wi-Fi will automatically connect without a password. If your steps require you to enter a Wi-Fi password, this means the order is incorrect.)
Step 3: Once the Bluetooth pairing is successful, you will enter the CarPlay or Android Auto interface.
At this point, the connection for CarPlay and Android Auto is complete, but now you need to set up the audio for the module. This step is where many people also make mistakes.

Step 4: Open your phone’s Bluetooth again and connect it to the car’s Bluetooth.
Go to settings, find "Communication," add Bluetooth device, turn on Bluetooth on your phone, and search for available devices.
Step 5: Once you find the car’s Bluetooth (e.g., Volvo’s Bluetooth), pair it with your phone.
Step 6: Go back to the main menu, select FM/AM/Bluetooth, and choose Bluetooth audio as the source. (This step is very important. Many people overlook it. Make sure to return to the main menu and check whether the audio source has switched from FM to Bluetooth.)
