How to Connect Your Alfa Romeo Mito Car Radio: A Step-by-Step Guide

If you're still unclear about how to connect your Alfa Romeo Mito car radio, don't worry—we're here to walk you through the process! Let’s break down the steps for a smooth installation.

Step 1: Connecting the Wiring Harness

It’s essential to connect both the power cable and the CANbus box properly.
After that, simply plug in the remaining wires into their corresponding PIN ports, as shown in the diagram below.

Step 2: Powering On the Device

Once the wiring is done, the device should power on. Pay attention to the two yellow wires, B1 and B2.
One of these wires must be connected for the device to work.
Normally, we will have pre-connected one of these wires before shipping.

  • If the device doesn’t power on, try switching B1 to B2 or B2 to B1, and test again to ensure it powers up correctly.

Step 3: Setting Up CANbus Type

Once powered on, it’s time to configure the CANbus settings:

  • Connect to Wi-Fi
  • Go to Factory Settings and enter the password: 123456
  • Access the CANbus module settings from there.

Step 4: Configurations for Two Scenarios

Now, depending on whether your Alfa Romeo Mito comes with Uconnect or not, you’ll set it up in one of the following ways:

Scenario 1: If your Alfa Mito does not have Uconnect, follow this setup.
  • Connect to Wi-Fi
  • Go to Factory Settings and enter the password: 123456
  • Access the CANbus module settings- Canbox:03 Simpel soft>Fiat>Bravo>Ok

Scenario 2: If your Alfa Mito has Uconnect, follow this setup.
  • Connect to Wi-Fi
  • Go to Factory Settings and enter the password: 123456
  • Access the CANbus module settings- Canbox:03 Simpel soft>Fiat>500X>Ok

Once you’ve completed these steps, your device is ready to go! All that’s left is to enjoy the enhanced driving experience that this new car radio brings to your Alfa Romeo Mito!
