Introducing the New Upgrade Version For CARPLAY/ANDROID AUTO MODULE
1.No loss of Volvo's sound audio system and use native mic: Following the upgrade, our product fully supports the OEM microphone and Volvo‘s audio, preserving the top-tier audio quality of the original vehicle within the CP and AA interfaces. This results in reduced Bluetooth transmission loss, ensuring a seamless connection between Bluetooth calls, music playback, and the Volvo's sound quality. 
2.Eliminate audio delay:You can now pair your phone directly with the Volvo for audio, which eliminates the audio lag that occurred when connecting to ISUDAR in the old version.
3.Full-Screen Android Auto and CarPlay Support: Our latest upgrade offers full-screen compatibility with Android Auto on Volvo, a feature that was not available in previous models.
4.Introduction of Hicar Functionality: We have added Hicar functionality, providing an enhanced way for interaction between the car and mobile phone. The Hicar interface offers remarkably smooth operation, adding a new level of convenience and seamless connectivity.
5.Support for Original Car Camera: With our latest upgrade, No wiring to the reverse light, eliminating the need for manual wiring as previously required. This simplifies the installation process and enhances user convenience.
6.Enter the CP and AA interfaces, and simply press the "home" button at the bottom of the screen. There is no need to swipe down with two fingers as before to switch screens. It is now more convenient for the driver to operate.
7.Support steering wheel control and panel button control.
Note：The Upgrade version does not support mirror link and USB flash play. CarPlay and Android Auto can only use apps that support use in CarPlay and Android Auto. (Video apps cannot be used)

Here are the differences between the V1 AND V2 version.
1. Differ in the multiple systems
V1 version: it supports full-screen CarPlay, half-screen Android Auto, and MirrorLink. 
V2 version: it supports full-screen CarPlay, full-screen Android Auto, and HiCar.

2.In terms of audio quality
V1 version: it relies on Bluetooth audio source, leading to some sound loss. It can only make calls using an external microphone.
V2 version: it can support the Volvo car's audio system without any sound loss. It directly connects to the original BT and allows calls through the car's microphone.

3.Regarding the rearview camera
V1 version: Support the original car's camera and a 360-degree camera, but manual wiring is required for reverse control. 
V2 version: It has wireless connections and can directly display the rearview interface.

4.The system switching methods differ too
V1 version: users need to swipe down the screen with two fingers to switch modes
V2 version: a simple press of the original car's home button is sufficient.

5.The functionality of the steering wheel control buttons also varies
V1 version: it cannot synchronize all the functions of the original car's steering wheel and can only support specific buttons like volume control (+/-).
V2 version: it synchronizes the function of the original car's steering wheel, providing almost complete 1:1 synchronization.

6.The installation process differs
V1 version: It requires more wiring, making the installation more complex.
V2 version: it simplifies the wiring and installation steps, making it easier and requiring fewer disassembly steps.

7. Video output
V1 version: Supports both Android and iOS devices, allowing video playback via screen mirroring through MirrorLink. Tvideo will be displayed in a half-screen format.
V2 version: Video playback via MirrorLink screen mirroring is not supported, as the audio is routed through the car’s Bluetooth system, causing the video to play without sound.

If the original car has electrical moving seats, there will be a CAN wire under the front passenger seat.
If there are no CAN wires in that location, pls connect to the CAN wire at any other available location of car.

If you are purchasing the module for using full-screen Android Auto (AA), please take note of the following:
1.The auto day/night mode is not supported, but manual day/night mode is available.
Due to the complexity of collecting headlight data, this feature is currently not supported.
2.Google Voice Assistant is not supported, although some customers have reported being able to use it in their cars.
You can try enabling "Hey Google" in the settings and installing an external microphoneto see if this feature works for you.
3. The same module is used for CarPlay and Android Auto, but there are differences in pixel quality.
This is because CarPlay and Android Auto have different inherent formats, causing Android Auto to originally be unable to adapt to full-screen resolutions.
Through our debugging, we make it to support full-screen display, but at a lower resolution than carplay, a parameter determined by Google developers.  
Unlike CarPlay, which is designed by Appple to support full-screen resolutions, resulting in a much better display quality.
If these three points are of concern to you, please refrain from purchasing this product, as we do not accept returns based on these reasons.

Connecting via HiCar with your Huawei and Honor smartphone provides a remarkably smooth user interface.
Additionally, with HiCar, you can even enjoy video playback and gaming.

Retain all original steering wheel functions while in CP/AA mode.
Google Assistant is not supported.
Support wake up Siri of your phone by calling”Hi, Siri“ or Long pressing the screen to activate Siri on your phone.
Note: If some of Siri's functions are not supported by CarPlay, they will not be displayed on the full-screen CarPlay interface.
Voice activation with "Hi, Siri" can be difficult to recognize if the phone is placed too far away.
It’s best to use the touch screen to activate Siri instead.The volume of Siri's voice is relatively low. You can long-press to activate Siri and then adjust the volume by pressing the volume up button on your phone.
